The house is all boarded up for the summer.

I don’t know why this makes me sad! I’m so glad for you about your big plans in Mass and proud of you too. But I liked it that your were there in Iowa. You know, you didn’t say you’d miss hanging your laundry out on a clothesline or that you’d miss working in a garden. Maybe you should have tried those things and then you’d miss that!
